SO, if the idea of source has only come into existence since the evolution of certain technology, what models were utilised for understanding production and creativity? What does the idea of the guitar player producing reflecton the model of an artist creating? Was there still source  - God etc. - and it is just that we now articulate it and comprehend it in a more detailed and systematic way - better or worse..? Or was there a completely different set of beliefs/existences in place for understanding (or not) creation?
